Bed and Breakfast Tours of"Off the Beaten Path" Britain
We've been busy over the past few months researching new tours. We've also added a 10-day option to most tours for those of you who can't spare the time for a full 14-days.
Prices are generally LOWER than last year, taking advantage of the favorable exchange rate.
New for 2010 are the following tours, or see the full list by clicking on "General Tours" and "Featured Tours" on the list to the left.
We are a family owned and operated business dedicated to showing you a side to Britain you won't see on other tours.
Whether you are looking for a unique escorted tour with a small group of like-minded travelers, or are more interested in getting around by yourself, but need some ideas and planning assistance, we can help.
Take a look around our website; visit the "General Tours" page to see our core tours, the "Featured Tours" page for specially-themed tours, or the "Custom Trip Planning” page for details of our planning services.
All the tours we offer are for very small groups -- 8-12 people. Our pace is relaxed and our itineraries allow flexibility to cater for individual needs and desires as well as the vagaries of the British weather!
Accommodation is generally in family-run Bed & Breakfasts or small family hotels. We plan our tours so that we spend several days at each place, allowing you plenty of time to "settle in" and feel at home.
Transportation depends somewhat on the size of the group, but is generally by professionally driven mini-coach. We may on occasion use the train to travel from the arrival airport to our first destination.
Your full-time guide on each tour is the owner, Andy Tatham. Born and raised in the Midlands of England, Andy moved to the US 20 years ago, so has the ability to see the travel experience from both the American and British perspective. He brings the tours to life with his knowledge of the area and personal recollections of growing up there. For more information, about Andy and our company, please see the "About Us" page
